Product Manager

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Product Manager by understanding, documenting, and coordinating user stories and digital product specifications.
  • Act as a user support liaison between vendors, information systems technicians, developers, UX designers, business analysts, and end-user departments.
  • Design and deliver training and presentations on specialized applications to end-users.
  • Track and manage user stories, features, sprint plans, sprints, and sprint reviews, verifying the accuracy and completeness of work.
  • Identify, research, and coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Plan and participate in scrum/sprint events, including sprint planning, user acceptance testing, sprint review, training, backlog planning, and design workshops.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a ticket and feature backlog for use by others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 2 years of experience within the past 4 years leading digital product management in the defence and security public sector (DND/CAF, Public Safety, RCMP, etc.), and within the generative artificial intelligence technology vertical.
  • Must have 3 years of experience within the past 5 years leading product management from the initial phases of the product management lifecycle (e.g., ideation, minimum viable product) to the final phases (e.g., product launch, maintenance, and end of life).
  • Must have a Government Secret Clearance.

  • 1 year.
