Scrum Master

Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of Agile events and project/program management practices
- Support the Product Owner to ensure group actions are aligned with the Product goals / vision
- Identify and action impediments that interfere with the progress and achievement of the team’s goals (e.g., using burndown charts at stand-ups, OKRs)
- Ability to navigate, communicate and decipher trends using team metrics (e.g., velocity), DevOps/ IT metrics along with barometer scores and progress against OKRs
- Facilitate team events (e.g., planning, retro, Kanban flow)
- Organize the processes of decomposition and story/task estimation. Co-ordinate cross-team technology dependencies
- Capable of building strong relationships with squads and individuals, building a reputation as a trusted advisor, coach, and friend
- Contributor to fostering a healthy work environment and builds self-sufficiency within the squad by ensuring the talent and tools for success are available, and squads are empowered to leverage them
- Effective navigator of communications within and beyond the squad to align stakeholders
- Familiar with Agile and leverages relevant frameworks (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) to optimize squad outcomes
Grasps the details of squad members’ technical approaches and proactively drives initiatives to improve engineering practices
