Federal Government Account Executive

Job Summary:

Our Public Sector at NewFound Recruiting is Growing and we are looking to add another Account Executive to the team. We are looking for a strong hunter looking to grow their career while calling into specific government departments and growing our base of consultants.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business leads
  • Build new client relationships
  • Manage current client accounts
  • Cold call into Federal Government Departments
  • Developing key client relationships
  • Meet with consultants on a regular basis to determine skill set and how to best represent them
  • Enter Job Postings in the in-house database
  • Following up with all candidates placed by meeting with them on a quarterly basis
  • Keeping up to date with technologies in the public sector IT industry

 

Experience:

 

  • Previous Sales/Account manager experience
  • Be proactive and self-driven
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience selling and/or recruiting Consultants into the Government
  • Four plus (4+) years sales and/or recruitment related experience, particularly with IT clients/Consultants
  • Post-secondary education in a related field of study (IT, Sales, Business, Human Resources etc)
