Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and maintenance of enterprise wide network systems hardware, operating systems, related network infrastructure, related applications and services.
Responsible for network disaster / recovery and backup / restore services, anti-virus and security services.
Performs network system backups, network integrity and performance checks, monitors network activity for defects, abuse or misuse and implements software upgrades and fixes as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve network related problems, participate in and assist project teams and provide network administration assistance and training to other IT staff and end users as required.
5+ Years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft Windows servers and directory services in a large enterprise network environment.
Working experience managing and supporting Microsoft Azure, M365 and VMWare virtual environments
Working knowledge of NAS and SAN, and experience working with networking equipment (hubs, switches, routers, cabling, print servers, etc.) and network management tools.
Working experience in network analysis, problem troubleshooting and resolution is required.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Experience setting up and administering VLANs and VPNs.
Experience administering backup and restore using Dell Avamar, Veeam and Azure.
Management of virus protection at the enterprise level using Symantec Anti-virus software and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
