REQUIREMENT: The Project Manager is required to perform the following tasks: Plan and manage project Risk through the development and management of the project risk management plan, the project risk register and risk analysis; Formulate statements of problems; establish procedures for the development and implementation of significant; new or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof; Define and manage project time through the development and management of activities, sequencing of activities and project schedule; Monitor the design, implementation and operations start-up of the proposed system against established goals, objectives and milestones; Develop and maintain statements of requirement for IT delivered solutions and support the business through implementation; Monitor the progress of various activities, identifying risks and opportunities and managing change and communications; Prepare reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) to provide updates on the progress of the project; Leads, briefs, coordinates and liaises with senior management on project management activities and Perform other project management related tasks as determined by the Technical Authority QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must have ten (10) years’ experience, within the last fifteen (15) years in performing project management tasks during the initiation and planning phases in a large IM/IT environment that has 3,000 or more users, or with a project budget of $30 Million or more. managing the development and implementation of IM/IT systems projects. developing or implementing release management processes supporting the delivery of IM/IT systems projects. developing or implementing of risk and issue management processes supporting the delivery of IM/IT systems projects The candidate will also have one of the following academic credentials: A degree from a recognized university in the sciences, engineering, Commerce, or IM/IT related studies, or A diploma (minimum 2 years) from a recognized college in the sciences, engineering, or IM/IT related studies. The candidate should have one of the following professional project management certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional Certification); or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments); or PMI-SP (Project Scheduling Certification). Certified Management Consultant (CMC) certificate Must hold a valid Top Secret security clearance.
