IT Governance Risk & Compliance Staff

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provides Information Security leadership to the Canada and Americas region. Maintaining and maturing the level of information security / privacy across the regions and driving risk reduction initiatives. Work with the Incident Response Team to respond to and investigate potential compromises of computing assets and information at different locations. Support IT aspects of formal investigations in incidents. Provide security architecture expertise across International IT Services. Support for maintaining network accreditations, including government and third-party certification. Overseeing the protection of personal information data in accordance with the data protection legislation that applies.  QUALIFICATIONS:  7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably being responsible for several locations.  Holds Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent Information Assurance certifications. Knowledge of Applications and Web Services, Security Risk Assessments Process, Information Security Incident Handling and Response and (CIS) standards and tools. Experience managing formal accreditation of government, military, and commercial systems. Exceptional leading, communication and relationship-building skills to drive consensus and address issues.  Must hold or be eligible for Secret Security Clearance for the Federal Government of Canada. DURATION: Permanent.
