Conduct project related analysis
Establish and maintain project operational requirements
Staff Army capital equipment and miscellaneous requirement projects
Direct projects through all stages of the acquisition process and prepare project documentation
Deliver project related briefings
Undertake project planning, guidance and coordination activities
Provide advice on procurement issues
Monitor in-service equipment and provide advice on issues that may affect operational capability or employment
Provide operational guidance on equipment projects in implementation and monitor against established goals and milestones
Develop plans for the evaluation and testing of operational equipment
Assist in ensuring requirements conform to approved international standards
Monitor various reports including post-operations reports and unsatisfactory condition reports in order to resolve equipment issues
Contribute to strategic and business planning activities
Participate in project related research and development initiatives including, but not limited to Operational Research, Technology Demonstration Programs, Advanced Research Programs, and Technology Advisory Groups
Assist the Technical Authority (TA) as required or directed
Define Army operational equipment deficiencies to respective DLR projects
Minimum 2 years of experience in the governmental project approval process of major capital equipment projects.
Minimum 4 years of project management experience
Minimum 2 years of experience identifying user operational requirements for equipment or vehicles that were used for Canadian Army or similar environments.
Minimum 7 years of experience managing the project approval phase of capital equipment projects.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in Canadian Army equipment, operations, and in-service support within CA or ADM(Mat) organizations.
PMP, Army Technical Staff Officer, or Army Technical Warrant Officer
Government Secret Clearance
1 year contract plus possible 1 year extension
