Federal Government Account Executive

Job Summary:
Our Federal Government Team at NewFound Recruiting is Growing and we are looking to add another Account Executive / Recruiter to the team. This position operates a 360 desk which includes recruitment, Government sales and account management. The purpose of this position is to match contract Consultants with Public Sector Clients who have contract opportunities available.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business leads
  • Build new client relationships
  • Manage current client accounts
  • Cold call into Federal Government Departments
  • Developing key client relationships
  • Recruiting and sourcing Consultants to match position requirements
  • Qualifying Consultants to mandatory and rated grids as well as flex grids
  • Meet with/Interview Consultants on a regular basis to determine skill set and how to best represent them
  • Enter Job Postings in the in-house database
  • Following up with all candidates placed by meeting with them on a quarterly basis
  • Keeping up to date with technologies in the public sector IT industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous sales/account manager experience
  • Be proactive and self-driven
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience selling and/or recruiting Consultants into the Government
  • Four plus (4+) years sales and/or recruitment related experience, particularly with IT clients/Consultants
  • Post-secondary education in a related field of study (IT, Sales, Business, Human Resources etc)
