Responsibilities:
The Resource will be responsible for the following activities and deliverables:
Participate in all phases of the project life cycle to implement the required information technology,
adding technical know-how, creativity and a seasoned perspective to initiatives and teams
Act as the lead technical authority and plan all activities leading to the development of the
infrastructure architecture
Identify technical issues and risks and define mitigation approach
Analyze the current solutions environment to identify creative opportunities to simplify the migration
Ensure the infrastructure setup will maintain stable operations of IT services through service
continuity, disaster recover, data protection and IT cyber security
Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in computer science, engineering or a related discipline
A minimum of seven (7) years of overall experience across a blend of information technology and
business settings, ideally in a mix of banking, government or mid-to-large-size corporations
A minimum of five (5) years of architectural experience with CISCO network
A minimum of five (5) years of architectural experience with virtualization environment such as
VMWare
A minimum of five (5) years of architectural experience with storage solutions such as Hitachi or
NetApp
A minimum of three (3) years of architectural experience with high-availability solutions
Other Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of Microservices, SaaS, and other cloud-based service offerings
Demonstrated experience with a variety of software technologies including packaged applications
(COTS), multi-platform applications and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise documents for a technical audience
Ability to meet the Bank’s Secret Clearance requirements
English essential, French will be considered an asset
