Protection of Information Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft revision of organizations Protection of Information standard, which includes redefining the information labels used to apply on documents
  • Develop a Communication plan
  • Develop a Training plan
  • Develop awareness, training, sessions and other workshops designed to increase adoption
  • Use existing inventory information, profile volume of Classified information for each of their owners

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 +  years as a subject matter expert in the area of information protection, i.e. the Consultant will be very familiar with the application of Government of Canada Treasury Board guidelines to Protected and Classified information
  • Strong experience with commercial requirements to classify and protect data, namely the sensitivity of business information in general as well as intellectual property
  • Experience with personal information requirements, US and Canadian Export Control laws and regulations
  • Experience developing documentation to capture and communicate information to employees, as well as demonstrate first-hand experience with data classification and protection software
  • Must have Government of Canada Enhanced clearance


DURATION: 6 Months + Possible Extension
