Receptionist

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Answering of phones/screening of ‘cold calls’
  • Greeting employees, contractors and visitors,
  • Booking boardrooms when necessary
  • Ordering of supplies
  • Sorting of mail
  • Sending and receiving Purolator/courier packages
  • Distribution of faxes
  • And other general reception duties.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite…Outlook, etc.
  • Able to learn a few internal software packages
Overall, Selected candidate would spend 10 % of her/his day on the phone and the rest of the time at the front desk

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Stakeholder Management: experienced in collaborating with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • Administration: experienced in managing a diverse range of administrative tasks; computer skills
CERTIFICATIONS
  • Academic: High School Diploma (required); a college certificate is an asset
EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in related field of activity

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
SECURITY REQUIREMENT: MUST hold a valid Reliability level (or higher) federal government security clearance
DURATION: 7 weeks plus extensions
